IQ ORDER · Restaurant software: full feature overview

Build the workflow your restaurant actually needs.

IQ Order connects guest menus, ordering, service, preparation, pickup and operating tasks. Begin with a digital menu, add waiter calls or ordering, and select further modules when the operation needs them.

    2026-10-31 · Scope and readiness

    How it works

Explore all product areas below, including reservations, delivery zones, staff records, inventory, promotions, receipts, tips and pickup displays. The detailed pages describe concrete actions and their limits.

Module availability and a live integration are separate questions. A local pilot, a hosted test workflow and a verified production connection must not be presented as the same release stage.

    A practical example

A café may start with a printable menu and counter pickup. A restaurant can add shared table ordering, kitchen courses and bill splitting without changing its brand.

    Scope and readiness

There is no claim that every provider, country or piece of hardware is already approved. Review the deployment scope and required integrations before a production agreement.

IQ Order is in pilot development. Test payments do not move money. Live payment, tax and POS connections, mail services and physical devices need their own provider access and acceptance. Public marketing pages do not grant access to administration.

    Digital and printable restaurant menus

Create several menus with categories, subcategories, photos and prices. Start from ten layouts or save a named design for reuse. Lunch, evening and event menus can follow dates and hours; check the ordering time separately from a future delivery slot.

Your table visit. Explained with Toni.

Toni guides you through your visit, from ordering together to paying and getting your personal receipt.

    Episode 1 · English · 1:06

    Order together, keep track

One table, one visit, individual orders: see how your group stays connected.

    Read the narration

A relaxed evening starts with a scan. The table has a fixed QR code. Anna scans it to open the menu and starts her table round, giving it its own name and entering her own name. A new table code is created for this visit. Ben and Clara scan the same QR code and enter that code and their own names to join her round. Everyone chooses on their own phone. Their individual choices stay together in the shared round, which shows who ordered what. Another drink later? Everyone returns to the same ongoing round to place further orders. The restaurant owner sets the payment method for new rounds: together at the end, or before each order. With immediate payment, an order goes through only once payment is confirmed. The owner also chooses whether the round ends automatically once all baskets and payments are resolved, or stays open for reorders. In that case, staff close the visit once everything is settled. Toni keeps track on the table plan: green means free, red means a visit is ongoing, and yellow means reserved. Outstanding amounts and payments in progress appear separately. A paid table is therefore not automatically free.

Pay, split and take your receipt

Split the bill together, keep a private receipt and add business hospitality details.

    Read the narration

Before leaving, Anna opens her table round's bill. For payment at the end, one person can pay everything, each guest can pay for their own dishes, the group can split equally, or assign individual items. The guests agree on the split before anyone makes the first payment. Once checkout begins, this agreed distribution is locked. Orders already paid for immediately are neither split nor charged again. Toni sees what is outstanding and which payment is in progress. Billing is complete only when every share is paid. The business can configure optional tips to suit its service. Our pilot shows clearly labelled test payments only. Guests open their personal receipt through a private QR code. They can save a PDF or receive it by email if email delivery is configured. Without a mail service, an email is prepared for them to send themselves. For business hospitality, Anna adds the host, place, date and occasion. She can import names from the order, edit them and add more later. She draws her signature on her phone. The resulting PDF contains both the original receipt and the confirmed business hospitality details. Later corrections remain traceable as new versions. Pilot receipts are test documents with no legal validity; real invoices require the appropriate payment and country approval.

IQ ORDER FOR YOUR SERVICE TEAM

Your next task. Right on your wrist.

The Wear OS app with the current IQ Order logo has been submitted for public review on Google Play. It shows ready orders and powerbank tasks from personally assigned areas. The team can see who claims a task first.

Wear OS: submitted for public Google Play review · no public store download yet. The internal pilot remains available by invitation. Permanent Android background push and tests on physical watches require separate acceptance before live use.

Apple Watch: submitted for App Store review · no public download yet. The free app is set to publish automatically after Apple approves it.

    Toni explains team waiter calls.

One guest calls and one team member takes responsibility. Toni shows how a service group sees who is handling the request and how the planned watch workflow would extend it.

    English · about 22 seconds

Animated concept film: group claiming is implemented in the team pilot. Direct waiter calls are not connected to Apple Watch or Wear OS yet; the current watch apps handle ready orders and powerbank tasks. Physical-device and background tests remain separate.

    Full spoken transcript · English

A guest calls for service from the table with IQ Order. The request reaches the assigned team. In the planned watch workflow, Toni accepts it with a tap on his wrist. His colleagues see he is taking care of it and continue serving. The guest gets confirmation, and Toni is on his way.
